The Practical Nursing program at Unitek College’s Reno campus offers two scheduling options: a full-time day program that can be completed in as few as 12 months, or a part-time evening program that takes approximately 75 weeks (about 19 months), providing flexibility to fit your schedule.
Reno students participate in on-campus labs, in-person instruction, and clinical rotations with healthcare partners across northern Nevada.

Schedules vary by program and cohort. The full-time day schedule typically runs Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The part-time evening schedule is offered either Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday or Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, with weekday classes held from 5:30 PM to 11:00 PM and weekend classes from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
Final schedules may vary by campus and are determined based on cohort placement. Days of the week are set according to your assigned cohort schedule. Clinical schedules are subject to change and may be held on weekdays, evenings, or weekends. Travel to clinical sites is required, with distance and time varying by location. Friday attendance may be required as needed for faculty meetings or scheduling adjustments.
