MA Curriculum (29 Credits*)

Unitek College’s hybrid Medical Assisting program is designed to prepare you for entry-level Medical Assistant roles in as little as nine months, combining online learning with hands-on, in-person training. Coursework is completed using a combination of online, on-ground labs, and a supervised externship in a real healthcare environment. The curriculum emphasizes both clinical and administrative competencies, including medical terminology, patient care procedures, anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, diagnostic imaging, surgical techniques, medical law, and office operations.

By the end of the program, you’ll complete 29 semester credits and a clinical externship, graduating with the experience, confidence, and career-ready skills needed to succeed in today’s healthcare settings.
