Because each program has specific admissions criteria, requirements may vary, and our team will ensure you fully understand what is needed for your chosen pathway. Unitek College is committed to admitting all qualified students without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, age, or disability, and provides reasonable accommodations to ensure equal access for students with disabilities, consistent with applicable law.

Admissions Requirements

Eligibility criteria for undergraduate admission

Unitek College maintains clear admissions standards designed to support student readiness and long-term success. All applicants complete an admissions application and meet eligibility requirements aligned with their intended level of study. Because criteria differ by credential type and program, prospective students should review the applicable requirements and consult with an Admissions Representative for detailed guidance.

Undergraduate Admissions
Undergraduate applicants must be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen as classified by the Department of Homeland Security, be at least 18 years old at the time of admission, and hold a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Applicants under 18 may qualify with parent or legal guardian approval or proof of emancipation under applicable state law. Students must complete the admissions process and meet any program-specific requirements outlined in the College Catalog.
Non-Degree Seeking Students
Individuals enrolling in single courses without pursuing a degree or diploma may apply as Non-Degree Seeking (NDS) students. Applicants must hold a high school diploma or GED and meet applicable College Catalog policies. NDS students are not eligible for financial aid, must maintain satisfactory academic standing, and may apply up to 12 semester credits toward a future Unitek College program, though NDS status does not constitute formal program admission.

Key resources for funding, transfers, and enrollment preparation.

FAFSA

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the first step in determining eligibility for federal financial aid at Unitek College. Students are encouraged to complete the FAFSA early to explore potential grants, loans, and other funding options. Unitek College Admissions and Financial Aid Advisors can help guide you through the process and answer questions about required documentation.

Financial Aid

Financial aid at Unitek College is available to those who qualify and may include federal grants, loans, scholarships, or institutional funding options. After completing the FAFSA, students receive a personalized financial aid review outlining available options and estimated costs. Our team works closely with you to ensure you understand your award package and next steps before enrollment.

College Catalog

The Unitek College Catalog provides detailed information about academic programs, course descriptions, admissions policies, tuition and fees, academic standards, and institutional procedures. Prospective students are encouraged to review the Catalog to understand program expectations and requirements prior to enrollment.

Transfer Credits

Students who have completed coursework at another accredited institution may be eligible to transfer qualifying credits to Unitek College. Transfer credit decisions are based on official transcript evaluation and program requirements. Acceptance of transfer credits may reduce the number of courses needed for graduation but does not guarantee full credit applicability toward every program. Note: Transferability of credits is at the discretion of the receiving institution
